We work closely with customers to manufacture prototype parts that allow for design validation, testing and refinement before committing to full production. This helps reduce risk, improve performance and ensure your final component is right the first time. Our flexible approach also supports small batch production, whether for low-volume requirements or modifications to existing parts for specialist or ongoing projects.
Our prototype capability draws on the same CNC machine tools used in production, including our YCM machining centres, Goodway CNC lathes, and sliding head machines. The manual machines listed below support specialist operations, toolroom work and one-off component development.”
We work directly from your drawings or CAD data to produce first-off parts to the same tolerances as production components. If you need to make changes between iterations, we can turn around revised parts quickly. We also produce first articles for production approval, including full dimensional inspection reports.
